Booking Terms & Conditions
If your reservation is cancelled outside of 8 weeks prior to commencment on the booking - full payment (excluding any despoits paid) will be refunded. In the event of non-arrival or cancellation within 8 weeks of the date of arrival, a charge equivalent to the total reservation cost may be charged, plus any expenses made by the client. Normal terms of payment apply to these charges.
Payment (Last Updated 28/10/13)
A deposit payment of 30% of the total reservation cost is required within 14 days of making the booking. Deposits can be made by cheque, cash, postal order, credit/debit card or electronic bank transfer. * A 3.5% charge will be applied to credit/debit card payments as this fee is charged by our service provider.
N.B:- Payments by PayPal and all Major Credit Cards (Except American Express) will be accepted shortly. Any enquiries with regards to payment by paypal for the time being to be discussed with the accomodation. We endeavour to have this service available very soon.
The remainder of the balance will be required no later than 8 weeks prior to commencement of your stay. Failiure to pay the remaining balance within this time period will be seen as a cancellation and your booking may be lost. If you have booked online you will recieve an automatic email 7 days prior to the final due date. No further notification will be sent following this.
Bookings made within 8 weeks of the arrival date will require payment in full at the time of booking. No payments by cheque will be accepted within this period without the prior arrangement with the accomodation.
Foxley Bank Stables does not accept responsibility for damage to, or for theft from, or for theft of vehicles parked on Accommodation premises.
Clients are recommended to have insurance to cover cancellation, curtailment, and loss of baggage, personal effects and money.
Foxley Bank Stables reserves the right to judge acceptable levels of noise or behaviour of Clients, guests or representatives, who must take all steps for corrective action as requested by the Accommodation. In the event of failure to comply with management requests, Foxley Bank Stables may terminate the booking or stop any event immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation.
Drugs will not be tolerated at the accomodation and we work closely with the police. If any guest is found to be using or possessing illegal substances the local authorities will be immediately informed. The location of the property is opposite a school and we cannot stress the significance of this request.
It is the policy of Foxley Bank Stables not to discriminate on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, creed, sex, marital status, age, ethnic origin or disability. Clients, their employees, guests and all sub-contractors engaged by or on behalf of the Client are expected to adhere to this policy and Foxley Bank Stables may, without incurring any liability to the Client, remove from the accommodation any person or persons offending against this policy.
Comments and complaints
Any comment or complaint regarding the stay should be made in writing within 30 days to Foxley Bank Stables. All information concerning the accommodation, including but not limited to descriptions, availability and pricing has been provided and is controlled by the accommodation.
Foxley Bank Stables is subject to statutory controls, including those relating to fire, licensing, entertainment, health, hygiene and safety. These must be strictly observed by Clients, their guests and representatives.
Other than for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Foxley Bank Stables, the Accommodation's liability to the Client is limited to the price of the booking.
Unless Foxley Bank Stables is liable under the above clause, the Client indemnifies Foxley Bank Stables from and against any and all liability and any claims, proceedings or damages resulting or arising from the booking, event or function, the Client, guests or any outside contractors of the Client.
Foxley Bank Stables will not be liable for failure to perform to the extent that the failure is caused by any factor beyond its reasonable control.
Foxley Bank Stables does not accept responsibility whatsoever for damage to, or theft from, or theft of, vehicles parked on the Accommodation premises.
Clients are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated rooms, furnishings, utensils and equipment in them by any act, omission, default or neglect of the Clients, their guests or sub-contractors and will pay to Foxley Bank Stables on demand the amount required to make good or remedy any such damage.
The information provided by the Client may be processed by Foxley Bank Stables for the purposes it has notified to the Information Commissioner. By confirming the booking, the Client consents to this processing of the information.
